Sauna Party

Sauna party

Saunas, who doesn't love sitting in the relaxing warmth after a nice dip in the pool or a nice workout in the gym?

A great alternative to a night out at the club, a sauna party with a few of your close friends can be just the thing after a long week.

If you're lucky enough to have a sauna inside your home, having a sauna party is definitely the way to go, though you can always have it at the gym too, if you don't mind uninvited guests.

Sauna Parties Are Fun And Relaxing

For you girls, you can turn a sauna party into a day of relaxation and fun by doing facials, getting pedicures and manicures, drinking dacaries and if you have a pool, taking a cool dip and soaking up some sun.

A nice relaxing sit in the sauna makes the perfect end to a girls day.

For the guys interested in this, you can make it even more exciting by turning it into a guys only football extravaganza.

Pull out the grill, throw on some steaks, turn the volume to max on ESPN and bet against each other to see who's favorite team will win the game.

Also gathering the guys and playing some pool or backyard football or basketball is a great way to burn off energy so you'll all be ready to relax and enjoy the comforting heat of the sauna.

Make sure to keep a bucket filled with water inside the sauna to pour water on the rocks to keep the steam circulating, and be sure to check the thermometer to see if the sauna is at a good degree of dry heat. Your actual stay in the sauna should last no longer than 20 to 30 minutes, to lower the risk of overheating, and people who are pregnant or have high blood pressure are advised to stay outside the sauna.
